Adult Male (Not a Physician) The research I've done suggests 5000 IU of Vitamin D3 Daily. I work with the public, sometimes the very sick public, and all I've managed to come down with so far this year is an upper respiratory condition. I think that is just allergies. I have definitely been exposed to people with confirmed cases of H1N1 on three or four occasions and have NOT contracted it myself. I would also highly recommend Colloidal Silver as a Nasal Spray. Again, I am a Dr. but NOT A PHYSICIAN... This is just what I'm doing this year. Namasté Kenny |

I like the idea of colloidal silver. Also, I use zinc, vitamin c (Chyawanprash - which is an Indian concoction of herbs and gooseberries available in most Indian stores), and 1-2 teaspoons of ginger juice. The ginger juice esp. seems beneficial at the very first symptoms of a cold. |

I'm not really doing much differently this season. I normally drink several cups of tea and about half a gallon to a gallon of water a day. I make sure to try and eat a rather varied salad at least once a day. If I'm feeling particularly down I'll pop a coldeeze or two, I think I tend to get kinda low on zinc and they pick me right back up. And always get at least 8 hours of sleep. |
