The title says it all. Can you suggest books that have inspired you to take the plunge? Over the years, have any of these books continued to be an influence on you? I personally, found "Green for Life" by Victoria Boutenko to be excellent.

I decided to go raw after I found the cookbook "Raw-volution." The recipes are really easy and delicious. Also, the author breaks each recipe down with symbols so you know how complex it is and what equipment/tools you will need.

But if you want good reading/ encouragement. My FAVORITE raw food book is "12 Steps to Raw." This gives the story of a family's journey to raw food. It also gives a lot of scientific information about the benefits of raw. The appendix is also a good source of information.

Good luck! I was raw for about 6 months and had amazing results. Then I went traveling for the past 6 months and was tempted. Now, I'm slowly becoming a raw foody again. It's a challenge. But online websites and these two books will help!
